A great day - Today only.....



A Great Day – Today….


          Which is a great day ? You may say  your birthday, or you may also say Sunday or any specific day which you like most.. If one has too much patriotism, he/she may even say independence Day!
`       
 But… I say “ Today” is the greatest day, you may ask why ? Please think for a while, then the answers flashes in your mind and may be answers are same which I describe here….

          Today is a greatest day because……

1     .      Yesterday is gone , tomorrow is unknown, what we have is Today alone.

2     .     Whatever we want to do can be only done Today.

3     .     We may plan to do something tomorrow .But we can actually execute our plans only         when that tomorrow becomes Today.

4     .     We can become great personalities of the future only when we accomplish great things at present – Today.

      .     We may utilizes the experiences of the past and we may design plan for future .But we can work them out only at present- Today.

6    .     We can laugh Today, we can weep Today, we can enjoy Today, we can think Today , we can imagine Today and… and,,,, the gates of our prosperous future will have to be opened on this blessed Today.

Means…. Today is the only day to live life……

Here, I want to share one of short story which is told by Leo- Tolstoy. Really, very inspirational and also support my points..

                     There was a king. He wanted to know the answers to his three questions. questions are …

Q1 Who is the most important man?

Q.2 Which is the most important work ?

Q.3 Which is the most important time ?
          
          He went on putting these questions to his ministers , Scholars , and others. But..none could answer to his satisfaction. Ultimately he gets the right answer from a sage :

A.1 The most important man is he who is with us.
A. 2  The most important work is that which is at hand.
A.3 ‘Now’ is the most important time.

 ‘Now’ is a part of Today. So, let us make the full use of Today and be successful, and happy..

 The good old days were once our dear Today. Let’s  thank them. All the future days are coming in time to be our joyous Today. Let’s welcome them. 

          Weak persons brood over the past.

          Lazy persons postpone their work for tomorrow.

          Thoughtful persons alone are mindful of Today.

     In short , Today is the only marvelous , wonderful and happiest day of the life……..

અનુભવોનું અકળ પાત્ર - અખેપાતર Bindu Bhatt is well known Gujarati writer. 'Akhepatar' (1999) have awarded the 'Sahitya Akademi Award' for the 2003. Novel has the  female  protagonist Kanchanba.  આમ તો આખીયે વાત કાંચનબા ના જીવન ની જ છે ને તેમ છતાંય એમાં ઘણું છે જે એક સ્ત્રી ને જ નહીં આખાય માનવજગત ને લાગું પડે છે.  Chandrakant Topiwala said that...... "સામાજીક ચેતનાની આધારભુત ભારત ના ભગલાંના વિષયની છે ને તેમછતા ભારતના વિભાજન કરતા એ વિભાજન ને કારણે પાત્રોની બદલાતી આવતી નિયતિ નિરૂપનનો વિષય છે."  કંચનબા ની પીડા,દુઃખો ને વેદના ને   ભુતકાળ માંથી એ વર્તમાન ને  નવો અર્થ આપે છે. This is story of journey not only from Outside but the most necessary from the 'inside' also. નવલકથા માં કંચન થી લઇને કાંચનબા સુધી ની સફર છે. One has to read his works to understand the meaning of pain and suffering.  "Marantip" is small  Navlika. While reading and  after  reading, one can't get much pleasure or aesthetic delight but some how it reflects the reality of life and human beings. One must be thought about it after reading.                 It starts with smoothly conversation  between husband and wife. then it moves with flashback technique. What is the meaning of life ? we have to find out. but Luckily  people have their own and different answers. Life is meant to be journey only. I found the anxiety  of Existentialism in story.  Sometimes, Characters are not able to understand their own voices which come from within as sometimes we also fail to understand. મરણટીપમાં .........
