          In this modern age, our everyday life-style becomes Hybrid life-style. Our ideas about culture and the way of living life is totally different .Everything has its own aspects and culture and now questions arise ….. 

What is Culture?

What is everyday life style?

Who has access to specific forms of culture in our everyday life?

What are the legitimate forms of culture acceptable in everyday life?

          ‘ Culture’  is umbrella term. We  can’t define Culture  with crystal clear idea . In short, we may say that Culture means…. What we have and Civilization means…. What we are.

          Each day we use all materials things which is not existed in our culture. Without using all those things, we can’t survive. Those all things become everyday life. We accept all materialistic things very easily means… we also accept ‘Globalization’ in our life style.

          Homogenous word ‘ Local’ and the Heterogeneous word ‘ Global’ is more important to understand because mingling this both word. We find word “ Glocal” which is existed in our everyday life and we also say that Hybrid everyday lifestyle.

          We find many examples of hybrid life-style in our day to day life. Girls wear Duptta with jeans and T-shirts. Boys  wear shuts and shoes which is not existed in our culture. In our culture we find Dhoti but now we all are not used to wearing such kind of clothes. In restaurant , we all are used to ordering Pepsi Or Thums up  with dinner rather than butter-milk.

          When two things of different country mingling and then even there is no problem it is called Hybridity in life. And hybridity just becomes the part of Globalization.

          Globalization always pressurized to other culture. One has to accept “ Glocal” culture so, no one can purely say that he/she  part of one culture, only.

          Invisible power rules over us and unfortunately, we enjoy a lot. With life-style ethics and morality are also changed. People  should be aware about culture. One has no time to think and raise questions because all those things happen with us gradually and unconsciously.

  

 Our food Habit also changed:

    

          Our reality shows also to be the part of our eryday life. Literature also accept the hybridity of language. The beginning of Karan Johar’s films provide the new look to Indian cinema. He portrays his characters different way. They wear shuts and Safa together and  audiences have no problem.

          The name of film “ Jab We Met” is itself a example of hybridity of language. Now a days , We have concept of ‘ Use and Throw  culture – dumb culture’ . It itself becomes the culture which is not our culture but we accept it.

             USe and Throw:

 In short, we may say that we have consumerist  ideology and we have to accept t new form of identity.

 We have to accept hyper modernism, cyber –culture and techno culture in our  life style.

Fear is in our mind.  Techno culture is always there to use technology and then even we can’t  live without  technology. In this age, techno culture is the most relevant to our every day life. Educations, shopping, business  and so many other things depends on technology.

          Our Happiness also connected with technology. We can’t imagine our day without electricity and our cell phones. Using technology , risks are always there but the same technology provide the solutions  of the problems which we face in every day life. It provides us another options.

Examples:

Memory card or pen drive can be damaged but Google provides us Google drive where we can save our important data and use when we want. Now we find that each area is suffered from water pollution but instead of complain about that we find another option  “ How to purify Water !”  And we have options of filters and Aqua guard is there.

          In short , we may say that we are the part of Globalization. We easily accept all things and those all things become the part of our daily life style. Now we all are not depend only one culture because we all the part of different cultures .
