Solitude :
The balm of some and bane of others.
By nature we are solitary beings. We were born alone, live with unique experience alone, and die alone. Yet, how many of us can say that we enjoy being alone ?
Solitude is often equated with Loneliness but the two are poles apart, only in deep solitude. When the mind become still does the state of existence. One can't become and can't remain creative without solitude. We are lonely today even we are in crowds. Freedom of our own mind removes the sense of loneliness. The complaints, the tears , the misery, the suffering are also a part of life. Life is not all smiles and favorable circumstances. Solitude, silence, non action is a very positive and tremendously creative state. It has its own energy that is qualitatively different from energy of ego consious movement.
We are never alone because we are full of all the Memories, all the conditioning, all the muttering of yesterday. We are trained from childhood to acquire and to achieve. Solitude teaches that discipline must be without control, without suppression, without any form of fear.
Harry James says that.
"The Kingdom of Heaven is within each of us, yet how seriously do we try to make contact with it ?
Nature knows in a better manner what the requirements are and provides them then and there. We need to understand the mysterious path of Mother Natute and that understanding leads us to become wise.
True solitude is found in humility which is infinitely rich. The proud solitary is never more dangerous than whenS/he appears to be social.True solitude is the solitude of charity which " Seeketh not her Own"
Aurobindo says...
"Soul doesn't act; it only breathes out from itself overwhelming action."
Secrecy and solitude are values that belongs to the very essence of personality. Life is meant to be lived from a centre -a divine centre. Life from the centre is a life of unhurried peace and power. It is simple. Those who have the gale of the Holy spirit go forward even in sleep.
We should cultivate sublime, divine thoughts in the divine garden of our mind. Tranquility is truth; truth is beauty, beauty is bliss and bliss is divinity. Tranquility is the innate nature of all; it is a self existent reality. Nature is divinity as well as universal harmony. The soul is the mass of bliss, the ocean of bliss. Soul that constantly rains down on them unsurpassed joy.
